In a week filled with big name stars like Kendrick Lamar and the Violent Femmes, a relative unknown, Big Sun of Long Beach, CA, triumphed over all of them and appeared on all three of the curators’ lists. Audio Bonsai faves Thao & the Get Down Stay Down and POLIÇA also made all three lists. Kendrick Lamar, while not making Adam’s Top Ten, did rank very highly on both Moksha and Jesse’s lists.
